After a long hiatus, Toronto’s Summer Basketball scene is back in full effect — Thanks to The Toronto Pro-Am, a premier platform responsible for re-energizing the city of Toronto with Summertime Hoops. Since Its inception, The Toronto Pro-am has provided a professional platform for Canada’s top NBA, NCAA, and International athletes to compete in front of their local community. What was inspired by Toronto’s everlasting passion for basketball now has revived its summertime hoop scene. Each year, the highly anticipate event draws a crowd of 15,000 basketball fans from across the GTA providing them the opportunity to experience an NBA-caliber atmosphere for FREE! You Never know who might show up at the Toronto Pro-Am, this premier basketball event has become widely recognized as one of the most prestigious summer tournaments in North America. It’s safe to say that the Toronto Pro-Am has redefined new standards for Toronto’s summertime basketball scene — this is more than just a summer league: it’s a cultural staple for the city of Toronto.

How do I join the league?
To join as a player in the league, you must be signed up on a team that has been approved to by our league.
A team may join the league after receiving an invitation or approval from our league manager.

Where are the Toronto Pro-Am games played?
All games will be played at York University’s Tait Mckenzie Centre.
The Venue is located at 1 Thompson Rd. North York, ON M3J 1P3. You can view directions here.
How can I get involved or volunteer?

How do I get media credentials?
To obtain media a media credential, you must fill out our media form. Once submitted, You will receive approval from our team. Forms will be posted on our website.
MEDIA POLICY: Media credentials will be issued to approved personnel only with priority given to organizations, journalists, photographers, videographers, and other personnel who provide regular coverage of the Toronto Pro-Am games and events. Due to space and other constraints, there is a limited number of media personnel who can be accommodated each week. WHILE media-designated seating IS NOT GUARANTEED for all personnel, game attendees are WELCOME TO capture FROM OUTSIDE THE designated media AREAs UNDER THE DISCRETION OF STAFF. We encourage media personnel and outlets interested in covering our events to get in touch early to secure their credentials, as credentials are awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis.
How do I sign up my son or daughter for the Youth Academy?

When does the tournament start?
The tournament will start on the second Friday of July.
